Service Precautions for Hurricane Sandy

In anticipation of unpredictable Internet connectivity and power fluctuations resulting from Hurricane Sandy in the Northeast United States, we have proactively re-routed traffic away from our data centers in that geography. Users may see slightly increased latency during this period, but service should continue uninterrupted.

We are monitoring performance while this preventative measure is in place and expect to return our cloud to its normal configuration once the situation has stabilized.

We have returned to our normal configuration as of this afternoon.

Further explanation of the preventative measures we took and their outcomes is forthcoming.
