As you might have heard our partner AppJet, the company behind the real-time collaboration tool EtherPad, was acquired by Google today. We’d like to congratulate the AppJet team and wish them the best of luck.
But what does that mean for all of you that use EtherPad in TokBox? Unfortunately, as of this morning the Etherpad free service no longer exists, and as a result EtherPad no longer works on TokBox. We are working to remove it all together. However, we are busy working on ways to fill the gap with some really exciting new tools, so stay tuned.
To learn more about what will happen to information you’ve created on your pad, visit the EtherPad blog. For more information on TokBox’s integration of EtherPad, click here. As always if you have any questions feel free to contact us at email@example.com.
