With the mobile market booming, there are increasingly exciting opportunities to innovate with WebRTC for mobile and an ever growing range of devices. Here at TokBox we are continuing to evolve our offerings and we’re seeing more and more of our customers building applications with embedded communications with mobile at their core. That’s why we’re looking forward to attend Mobile World Congress this year, the world’s largest industry event.
As well as demoing the OpenTok platform and its mobile capabilities, we will also be showcasing a selection of our partners’ applications:
Chegg Tutors – an online tutoring service that enables students and teachers to connect virtually.
Calgary Scientific – cloud based medical imaging software that allows doctors and specialists to securely share and view 3D patient scans, images and reports from any device while communicating via live video.
Double Robotics – a telepresence robot that can be controlled remotely that gives users a physical presence when they can’t be there in person.
Mobile World Congress will take place in Barcelona, 22-25 February. TokBox will be part of the Telefónica booth in the main exhibition hall. If you’re at the event, swing by the booth to see how companies are leveraging TokBox technologies to bring rich WebRTC based communications to mobile.
We’re also co-hosting the Barcelona WebRTC meetup on February 23rd at 5pm. There will be talks from industry leaders about recent WebRTC developments, meeting the mobile challenge and more. If you’re interested, you can find all the details and register to attend here.
